It would look just a lovely as an indoor wreath over your mantle, on an inside wall or door or even on a wall at the stop of a stair landing, adding a beautiful touch to your spring and Easter décor.
It has soft lavender deco mesh poufs and then, just for fun, it is filled with soft green deco mesh ruffles. All the mesh is metallic so it will shimmer and glimmer in the spring sunshine on your front door.
Adding to the fun are ribbons, lots of them, about 12 yards of ribbons in spring patterns and colors of yellow, green and lavender and pink. There are two kinds of 2.5 inch ribbons – a soft spring pink solid linen and a fun green and white striped ribbon. These are paired with smaller 1.5 inch ribbons in lavender and white quatrefoil and a yellow ribbon with small green polka dots. These add fun touches to the wreath, but it is also quite elegant. I only use wired ribbon so that it can be reshaped as necessary.
The star of this wreath is the Easter bunny (well his ears and feet, anyway). peeking out as you search for all the Easter eggs he has “hidden” throughout. The ears are plush white with a touch of pink on the inside. His chubby white plus feet show from the bottom. There are pink, green, yellow and lavender eggs nestled in the mesh all over the wreath and three larger sequined and sparkling eggs in pink, green and lavender adding just a little more sparkle. Soft yellow gerbera daisies add the finishing touch for springtime.
As mentioned is a LARGE wreath measuring 30 x 30 inches and very full measuring about 9 inches deep. It WILL make a statement for your spring decorating!
With proper care, this wreath can last for many more spring/Easter seasons giving your family a lot of enjoyment. Because of the plus bunny ears and feet, it would be best to place it is on a well protected front door and if there are storms forecast, you might want to bring it in until the storms pass by.
It would make a lovely Easter gift for someone and I would love to enclose a handwritten card for you to the recipient.
